This rosin is fantastic. The bow grips the string well, but I don't have to force the sound. The grip gives a nice control over the strings. The rosin is powdery which I find to be better than sticky rosin. Everything from big long strokes to fast passages are effortless. The only drawback is the rosin can leave the hair a little green, but almost all rosins discolor hair.

For anyone looking for a more powdery rosin this is the one for you. Perfect for solos or chamber work the rosin helps to give a little more bite to the string. I am a fan of it big time. Bass Things sent me a very fresh cake very fast. I will only buy my rosin from them.
Its not just for solo work

I use this stuff for orchestra, big band, and solo work. The word solo rosin is miss leading. It doesn't give you a bright solo tone, it gives you a great grip and control over the strings and tone. Which makes it great for spicatto and it brings new light to your slower vibrato.
